Help this kitty!

A good samaritan found this cat today in a gutter by Clark Park, half dead. He is now at the Cat Doctor with a body temperature of 90 (normal is 102) and blood PCV of 8. The Cat Doctor housecat, Diamond, is currently donating blood to save his life. During the exam, the vet found that this cat has a microchip. When called, his "owners" reported that he was acting sick, so they put him outside. Writer's Block: Happy birthday John Lennon!

Do you think there will ever be world peace?

I hope so. I am sick of war and the like. But I honestly don't know if it will happen any time soon. Heck, we can't even get our members of congress to agree on a lot of things!

Writer's Block: Give me a sign

If your astrological sign has changed, do you think your personality more resembles your current or past sign?

Frankly, this "new astrology" thing is a bunch of crap. I've read that's only supposed to apply to people born in 2009 and later.

Whether that is the case or not, this "old sign/new sign" thing is stupid. I was born a Leo and will die one. I am a Leo at heart, and I don't care what astrologers are claiming now. They have no dominion over me. They can claim that the sky will turn purple tomorrow for all I care.

I am so NOT a Cancer, I am far more a LEO!

Writer's Block: On the Go

How do you listen to music and watch videos on the go?

I don't. I don't see the point of doing these kinds of things, unless it's listening to the radio in the car.

You Should Teach First Grade

You are encouraging and easygoing. You don't mind answering the same questions from kids over and over.

You are also very detail oriented. You're a stickler for proper punctuation and grammar.

While you run a tight ship, you still know how to have fun with learning.

You are good at motivating and inspiring others, especially kids!

Your Ex is Dependent

Your ex is dependent on others from almost everything - and has trouble accepting responsibility.

Your ex is not able to be independent and fears being alone.

People with dependent personality disorder feel helpless when a relationship ends and need constant reassurance.

Sound at all familiar?

I have said that the reason I dumped James was because of his immaturity, but that describes him really well.

You Would Be a Practical Doctor

You're the kind of person who's concerned with facts and figures.

As a doctor, you would be up on the latest research and take detailed notes about your patients.

You would be just as concerned with keeping your patients healthy through preventative medicine as you would with curing them.

You would be well suited to being an orthopedic surgeon or radiologist. You would also do well running a general practice.

You Are a Very Good Girl

You are 90% Good and 10% Bad

You're a perfect angel - almost impossibly so

Don't you ever feel like being a little bad?!?

Man, 10 years since high school already!

So, yesterday I went to my 10 year high school reunion. It was at a local bar. An informal one, but it still was one.

I was really reluctant at first for various reasons. Later in the day yesterday I finally decided to go.

So, I get to the bar early and ordered a drink. People gradually started to arrive and I talked to some of them---Even when the music got loud and interfered with conversation.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Some of you reading my journal know that high school was a bad experience for me. Fortunately, my classmates have grown up and they weren't obnoxious.

Dare I say it?---I'm glad I went. Yeah, you read that right!

There will be a 20 year reunion. I wonder about a 15th.

In short, the reunion wasn't a nightmere. I don't regret going.

Not much to say, just figured it was time for an update of some kind.

I'm still here, just on Facebook most of the time....as far as social networking sites go.

Overall, things are good. Church, work, family, friends, etc.

So far, nothing scheduled for today but that could change quickly. Who knows?
